You are eligible to vote for Damon in the Second District Democratic Primary on May 17, 2011 if you live in the following political Wards and Divisions in Philadelphia:   

  • Eighth Ward (8th Ward), divisions 1-7, 9, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28.
  • Twenty Sixth (26th Ward), all divisions.
  • Thirty Ward (30th Ward), all divisions.
  • Thirty-Sixth Ward (36th Ward), all divisions.
  • Thirty-Ninth Ward (39th Ward), divisions 2, 4, 13-14, 16, 24, 29, 36, 41, 44.
  • Fourth Ward (40th Ward), all divisions. 
  • Forty-Eighth Ward (48th Ward), all divisions.

The Second District also includes the following zip codes: 19103, 19112, 19142, 19143, 19145, 19146, 19148, and 19153.

How Do I Know If I Live In The Second District?

In order to make it easier for voters to find out if they live in the Second Council District, you can use this helpful guide from Philadelphia’s Committee of 70 election organization.  Type in your address, city and zip code and it will tell you what local, state, and national elected officials represent you.  If you see District 2 listed under Elected Officials, you live in the Second District.
